In 2019 the team at Paradigm Design and Construct brought another dream to life with this bespoke, custom built home in Rapids Landing, Margaret River. That dream was rammed earth, timber frame and structural steel construction, Jarrah cladding, burnished concrete flooring, off-form concrete bench tops, hearth, servery and Marri timber cabinetry. The mix of raw materials give the home an industrial feel, while also creating warmth and texture within the interior. At 180m2 of living, this solar passive home has extensive north facing windows to catch winter sun, concrete and rammed earth for thermal mass, and ample ventilation from louvres and ceiling fans. Perfect for all year-round country living.
